"Bon Voyage 08S07A"

Long time sinced I last blogged. Quite a few events to note haha... not to forget my MAC (March Adventure Camp!)

All the ODAC ppl scaled Mount Ophir the previous weekend. Shit it was super super rush at first i wanted to have a last class foto ever with my much loved class (awww...) but then it was like 11:10 i had to leave for ODAC at 11:15am in the mornin!!! AAAAHHHH!!!! I was like sweating all over after i bathed like, 20 mins ago cos stupid Rachel n Angel still washing their hairr!!! GGAAAHH!!! Somemore Rachels the one with the camera!!!! They came like zhun 11:15 so i was like WAAAAHHH chiong arh quick take picture i gotta zao liao n i seriously CHIONGED with all the power of my two legs all the way to under the specs gal n reached there juz in time lor. Waaahhh stress man next time can girls not wash their hair or something so long!? Its juz PE!!!!!! Us guys seriously wouldnt mind if u all stink lor, anyway our BO stronger than u so who gives a damn?!?! BBBAAAHHH

Oh yar sry forgot to write abt the day b4 friday. Tt was Orientation 2... zzz quite borin actually yes i know i luv my OG but the activity sux.. in the end we all play cards at macs lol. Which OG actually ran n chiong all the way for the Amazing Race Scavenger Hunt thing har? If there is one i will be like 'wah respect! respect!' Met a few OGs along the way, one told me they all went to watch movie LOL they like couldnt care less abt the scavenger hunt.

There was this thing we had to do on our hunt list - that is, find a random 1.9m guy n take a picture with him. End up we all found this afro ang moh who was 1.9+ lol. Val Tan is like, 1.5m? Then we all took a picture of Val standing on a chair and the guy standing next to her n he was still taller than her on the chair LMAO!!!! When she approached him to ask him for a pic with her he was leaning over her each time he replied hahaha

Went back earlier with Sherry in Kaleni's car woah its some Mercedes Benz or something (if I remember correctly). Rich kid... lol.

Kk back to Mount Ophir when we went there we were like okay... tt doesnt seem very high lol. Until we all hiked up then we were like SHIT OUR BACKPACK DAMN HEAVY CLIMB UP GGXX. GGXX = GAO GAO XIN XIN!!! (quoted from Ruth)

The view was really damn nice so we were cam-whoring all the way up the mountain. When we reach base camp all of us were quite tired but i was still very fresh (cos i didnt carry a tent in my bag lol. Poor Jia En.) We DAMN SUAY WE GOT THE AREA TO PITCH OUR TENT NEXT TO SOME MAKESHIFT TOILET THAT CONSISTS OF 2 WALLS AND NO TOILET BOWL TO SHIT IN!!!! WWAAAAHHH CHAO SMELLY!!! (pinch nose) somemore we cook around there lor. U can imagine tt people all go there shit but theres no flush so they shit on the ground and all that pleasent odour gets swept by the wind into our cooking area. When the other groups came to try our food they were like *pinch nose* and said 'DAMN SMELLY!!!'. Then we couldnt smell a thing cos we got used to it ><

In the meantime I left my bag in the tent. The mosquito coil was still attached to my bag n still burning all the smoke... so...

After dinner it was pretty much time to clean up all our utensils and our mess tins. As usual our manly group with no one getting below 25 for NAPFA (including the girls) were like some hungry ghosts. Its not even the 7th month yet ppl like Jia En and Deshawn keep on scavenging food frm the other groups lol. Until Mr Shah himself treat us to some of the food he cook HAHA. Amazing how we all didnt shit the next day (maybe its cos the place so smelly we didnt have the 'appetite' to shit!)

...and so when me n Bernard entered the tent again I unzipped the tent flap n it was like VVVOOOMMM one OMEGA POWER GUST of mosquito coil smoke came blowing at my face. Both of us felt like gagging lol. I shine my torchlight in n i COULDNT SEE THE OTHER SIDE OF MY TENT!!! IT MUST HAVE BEEN LIKE PSI 400 INSIDE! Then Bernard asked 'I wonder which smart guy put a mosquito coil inside a tent and zipped it up' n i was like 'Mmmmhmmm i wonder who...'

No mosquito in the right mind would ever visit our tent again, tts the good thing. The bad thing is that the smell lingered on even when we left the tent flap open to let out the air to sleep for the night.

We had a night briefing after dinner. Mr. Leong was telling us abt some things to note, including stuff abt mosquito coil. Then he said DONT PUT THE MOSQUITO COIL IN THE TENT and Bernard was like ER HM ER HM then i was like... yah ER HM ER HM LOL

Came back to the tent we found this spider on the side of it the size of my clenched fist. As usual im the one who chase it out XD

So we slept for the nite after tt. Like the last time the uber smart Jia En decided to sleep half naked. In the middle of the mountain.

Siao.

In the end i had the last laugh. I was like, fully armed and ready for winter with a jumper, a long sleeve shirt, a windbreaker n a sleeping bag. Oh pls lar isnt it obvious tt if u r on a mountain it would be cold!? In the end i lent my jumper to Melissa, my long sleeve to Wai Sum, my windbreaker to Germaine and Jia En slept for 2 hours only tt nite cos he was shivering in the dark cos he was half naked. Wonder when he decided tt his body temp is more impt than posing in the tent lol. Teach u a lesson for showing off the knots on ur stomach even in ur sleep!

I slept for like 6 hours damn damn song. Sleeping bag rox!!! Tho its my first time actually bringing a slping bag to camp haha. But of course its a mountain!!!! Isnt it logical to bring along some extra clothing?

Next day climb up to the top of Mount Ophir. The climb was very interesting, the weather was air con so climbing was damn song. Except for Melissa she climbed with her shorts on so she shivered through half the journey.

Every checkpoint we went i found a sole on the floor. I think SOS now stands for Save our Soles lol. Wai Sum's sole dropped out as well lol. There were parts when there were sheer rock faces to climb so we juz used a rope n no safety gear then climb up. Aiya its quite a breeze for me not my first time climbing mountain but then for others (like Mel) she got hamzi n we got to cheer her on lol. I started my climb when she was 3/5 up the rock face and when i finished she was still behind me haha. The guide said my ropework was good. Of course, of course =)

Throughout the hike me, Deshawn, Jia En, Bernard and Wai Sum kept talking about Uncle Tan Fish Ball lol. Cos when we went to Yong Peng to eat there was this stall called Uncle Tan Fishball. I dunno y la but then we starting guai lanning n said Tan is his surname and Fishball is his full name. We r the most tok cok group of guys in ODAC lol. We even came up with an Uncle Tan Fishball song:

somemore we got actions made it damn funny lol. Aiya i cant explain in words how cok we were until all the girls got buay ta han of us lol.

As 1st aid IC got a couple got injured in my group. Wai Sum (he slipped on the river bank n fell on a rock) and Melissa (who got like 10 scratches or so on her leg - so much for wearing shorts haha)

After our climb down the summit we went to take a bath in the running river water. SOME IDIOT FISH SWAM INSIDE MY PANTS N MOLESTED ME #)$&^#*&$^ lol. River water DAMN COLD... bbrrr.. i was the 1st to enter in. Omg then my group guys decided to take off their shirts in front of the girls

so i quickly zaao offf lol .... but then cos of tt i could change up 1st b4 the rest come n kope the tent to change their underwear in.

Next day hike down base camp go back home...

This holiday ive been like trying to mug physics and practice playing the piano. im desperately trying to learn how to play the Michael Nyman's song my sister always plays - it holds some sorta a sentimental value in my heart, like it really gives me a sense of nostalgia. But im stopped playing piano since primary 4 when i was barely grade 5 n now im trying to play a song tt is grade 8 @_@

Oh yah one more thing to note: VHM Tan Nam Seng called my father said tt he does not guarantee i would end up in S06A, but he says im definitely gonna change combi 100% sure cos a lot of free slots

So... goodbye 08S07A! Though this may be the end of our happy times together as a class, I will never forget each and every one of u all tt made the 1st 3 months of my JC life such an enjoyable one!!! U r a class like no other!!!!

Seriously I will miss every single one of u!!! Frm eating at Seoul Garden to Bishi Bashi and Para Para, I will never forget those moments where I felt that life could never be more enjoyable!

Goodbye Gen- for being our favourite GP rep and the holder of the cute pink color balloon (dang i forgot the balloons name lol)!!!!! Same chinese grade too XD

Goodbye Samantha - for being the most mugger girl in class (XD). Hope to see u continue taking all those notes down on paper n keep up with ur good GPA!

Goodbye Mel- very sad to see u leaving RJC... ur megaphone voice and open attitude I will never forget!!!! GP partner!!! XD

Goodbye Zhen Yi - hope to see u talk more okay!!!! muz bond with the rest of the class =)
